Itinerary

Our itinerary is designed to provide flexibility for everyone - from arriving and departing at different times, to options for how you want to enjoy the mountain.

Day 1 - Friday

Travel Day

3pm - Check-in

3pm is the earliest check-in time. As we will be travelling in multiple cars, you have the flexibility of when to arrive.

7pm - Dinner

For those who arrive in time we will have a homemade dinner together

Day 2 - Saturday

Hit the slopes

7.30am - Breakfast

Bright and early we kick-off with breakfast

It’s time to head to National Park. We can park all day at the National Park Park’n’Ride which offers free parking and is where our shuttle will pick up us.

8.45-9.30am - Head to National Park

We have pre-booked a shuttle that will accomodate all travellers. This avoids the need for anyone to need to drive up the mountain (and deal with parking or snow chains).

9.30-10am - Shuttle up the mountain

Our mountain of choice for this trip is Whakapapa, which offers a wide variety of activities to suit all.

We want everyone to enjoy the mountain in the way that works best for them. For some of you this will mean non-stop skiing and snowboarding, and for others this will mean taking in the view and then parking up at the restaurants and cafes at the top of the Sky Waka Gondola.

10am-4pm - Enjoy the mountain

4.30-5pm - Return Shuttle to National Park

Our return shuttle departs at 4.30, and will return us to National Park Park’n’Ride.

5-5.30pm - Head back to the accomodation

The last travel for the evening is to head back to the accomodation.

Pre-dinner it’s time to relax, hibernate to get some alone time or join the gang in the living area, this time is yours.

5.30 - 7pm - Free time

With our appetites well and truly worked up it’s time for dinner at Osteria, an Italian restaurant. You can check out the menu here.
